THURSDAY

Chicken and biscuit dinner

MONTGOMERY - St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, Route 405, will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4:30-6 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6-10 and under 6 eat free. Takeouts available by calling 547-6423.

FRIDAY

Free community dinner

St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church, 1427 Memorial Ave., will hold a free community dinner at 5:30 p.m. featuring homemade sauerkraut and hot dogs.

Baked fish dinner

St. Joseph the Worker Parish will hold a Lenten baked fish dinner from 4-7 p.m. at the Parish Fleming Center, 720 W. Fourth St. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Takeouts available. Purchase tickets at the parish office 323-9456 or at the door the night of the dinner.

Daniel's Closet open

Redeemer Lutheran Church,1101 Washington Blvd., will hold its Daniel's Closet free clothing ministry from 9-11 a.m. Donations of clean, seasonal clothing will be accepted at the church from 5-6:15 p.m. Thursday. Please use the stairway on Washington Boulevard.

Walk through the NT seminar

COGAN STATION - Fairlawn Community Church, 353 Pleasant Hill Road, will hold a Walk Through the Bible's New Testament seminar and the corresponding "Kids In The Book" event for first- through fifth-grade students from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Call the church office for more information, or register online at FairlawnCC.com.

Pork and sauerkraut dinner

ROSEVILLE - Roseville United Methodist Church, Route 549, will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner from 3-6:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the church women's mission projects.
