When my kids played soccer at the Y it was $600 a team. There many divisions, maybe 50 teams.. The Y made money. The hockey idea could have worked. Teams would have come from everywhere, plus open skate, the gate and vendors should have worked. Sad it didn't, but I have to say now the city knows what it is like to pay someone else"s utility bills.
