March 29: Good Friday Service at the Oriole United Methodist Church.

UNITED METHODIST CHURCHS
During Lent season, churches will participate in a worship series titled By My Hand-For My Sake. The questions will be asked, "what is your role in the suffering and death of Christ?" Through homilies and monologues the characters Adam/Eve, Nicodemus, Judas, Barabbas, Pilate, Peter and the Centurion will address this question. Participating pastors are Bill Anderson, T.R. Hardic, Roger Yoder, Sharon Nestlerode, Cathy Dawes and Tom Jones.

Wednesday Lenten Series
Episcopal churches in the Williamsport area will hold a Lenten soup supper and DVD series followed by a service of Compline on Wednesdays during Lent beginning at 6 p.m. The topic is What Wondrous Love: Holy Week in Word and Art.

HUGHESVILLE - The Muncy/Hughesville United Methodist Cluster will sponsor an Ash Wednesday Worship Experience at 7 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 111 S. Second St.
WOOLRICH - Woolrich Community United Methodist Church, 1080 Park Ave., will hold a walk-up, drive-up imposition of ashes from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. In front of the church. At 7 p.m. the church will host the opening of the Lenten combined services with area United Methodist churches. Pastor Tom Jones will be the speaker.
