Lerena V. Haag, 92, of Milton, died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Kramm Nursing Home, Milton.
Born May 15, 1920, in Gypsy, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Nancy (McCracken) Wassam.
Mrs. Haag retired in 1983 from Shop Vac, Williamsport. She had been previously employed at Cobbler's Shoe Factory, Williamsport, Dumont Airplane and Marine Co., Hyde and Kent's Sportswear, Curwensville.

She is survived by three children, Mary Jane (Gilbert) Bennett of Milton, Darlene Y. (Charles) Smith of Falls Creek and Lawrence E. (Dale) Haag of Berwick; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Linda Haag of Williamsport.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meirl Lawrence Haag on Dec. 24, 1975; a daughter, Helen E. Seaburn; a grandson and great-grandson; a son-in-law, Donald Diehl; three sisters, Annie E. Wassam, Linnie L. Patrick and Viola B. Shephard; and six brothers, Clarence, Eugene, Leonard, Robert, William and Floyd Wassam.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville, on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wanda Minnick and Pastor Roger McGary, Mrs. Haag's great-grandson, co-officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.
