Earl D. Fraley Sr.

Earl D. Fraley Sr., 85, of Muncy, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 9, 1927, in Limestoneville, Pa., a son of the late H. Glen and D. Vergilla Springer Fraley.

Earl attended Eight Square School in Moreland Township. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver and also farmed for many years. Earl enjoyed hunting and traveling. He is a member of the Millville Christian Church. He is a member of the Muncy Lodge 299 of Muncy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Woodling Fraley, who passed away September 2003, and a brother, Max Fraley.

He is survived by two daughters, Julie and her husband David Whitmoyer of Muncy, Terri and her husband Barry Mintto of Pottstown; two sons, Earl D. Fraley Jr. and his wife Carol of Elysburg, Glenn W. Fraley and Katie of Almedia; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Robert, George, Carl and Howard Fraley; and his friend, Sherry Eyer.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Road, Muncy, PA 17756, with Pastor Bob Ingraham officiating. Burial will be at Moreland Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. with a Masonic service at 8 p.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, PA 17846, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.
