Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday Sally Grieco, Dan Doyle and the Rev. Glenn McCreary will participate in a panel discussion on Vatican II as they watched it happen 50 years ago as laypeople in our area. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Pastors Kathy and Jim Behrens. Kathy is part of the Wallis Run-Mill Creek United Methodist Charge and Jim is part of the Picture Rocks United Methodist Charge.
