January 23, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

The city Department of Community and Economic Development is holding a one-hour information session Thursday night for neighbors of a proposed housing development at the site of the vacant Brodart warehouse, Memorial Avenue and Oliver Street, which is to be razed.

The session is at 6:30 p.m. in the Sechler Room on the second floor of City Hall, according to John Grado, city engineer and director of the department.

Maps and people associated with the planning and development of the housing project are expected to be on hand, he said. The project includes apartments and townhouses as well as two homes built by Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity

It also includes efforts to rehabilitate portions of the surrounding neighborhood using grant funding.
