Two people at different businesses have been charged with allegedly stealing money from their employer, according to city police.
In one case, Crista Ann Wilson, 19, of 2329 Linn St., allegedly stole $6,550 from the Weis Market, 620 W. Third St., between last June and last month, police said.
A two-year employee of the supermarket, Wilson was arraigned last week before District Judge James Carn on one count of felony theft and released on $15,000 bail.
The other case involved Thomas Daniel Way, 18, of 1421 Scott St., who faces the same felony charge for allegedly stealing $2,190 from the AutoZone, 711 W. Third St., between mid-November and earlier this month, police said.
Following his arraignment before Carn, Way was released on $10,000 bail.
