Mansfield student attends college physics competition

January 14, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

In November, a team of three physics majors from Juniata College, Huntingdon, participated in the University Physics Competition, where teams of undergraduates have 48 hours to develop a solution to an open-ended physics question.

A total of 81 teams took part, and the Juniata group received a Bronze Medal, which places them in the top half of all participating teams. One of the team members is Tim Berguson, of Mansfield. He is a senior studying physics and the son of Bruce and Margaret Berguson. He is a 2009 graduate of Mansfield Area High School.
