January 10, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

WELLSBORO - Stephen Kascmar Jr., 35, of 280 Austin St., was charged by borough police with bad checks after he allegedly wrote a check for home building supplies for $30,000.

According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard's office, Kascmar wrote the check to the Kennedy Home Center, 41 Charleston St., on Dec. 13, but the check was returned for insufficient funds after he already took the items into possession.

Police said he would not return calls from the store owners or police about the check.

He was issued a summons to appear at a Feb. 12 preliminary hearing.
