Moral?

January 8, 2013
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

I have been reading the letters about people's thoughts on the horrific shooting at a elementary school in Newtown, CT. We probably will be arguing over mental illness and treatments, violence in media, gun rights and freedoms. What has caught my attention is the questions of morals and of God. This happen because we don't believe, our government doesn't believe, we left Christ out of Christmas. What makes you think that the individuals being shot at was not praying or that the families of those being shot at were not praying or that as a nation we did not pray for those who are suffering from this shooting? What makes you think that the people of Newtown was a godless town with no Christian worshippers?

For those who wrote about the importance of God while advocating more guns I have a question: How moral are you with a Bible in one hand and holding a gun in the other?
