I can't believe that the city would require residents to clean out around the fire hydrants in the city.
I can't imagine that we would want an 80-year-old resident of the city out there trying to shovel snow from around the hydrant just because it's on their property.
Why doesn't the city have the paid firefighters go out in teams and clean up around them? We pay there salaries with our taxes. It just makes sense to have them out there working for their pay!
