Twenty first graders murdered. Thirty-one mass shootings since Columbine. After the "appropriate" waiting period, the NRA puts out its "talking points", and its surrogates will write an epistle demonizing President Obama and in defense of guns. The right-wing pundits will add their voices in support. Please spare us.
It's time to get serious about a ban on all assault weapons, closing the gun-show loophole, funding mental health services, and providing a full-time guidance counselor in every school.
