Mr. and Mrs. James G. Norris, Williamsport, observed their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 27, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Joseph Reilly at Church of the Ascension (Newberry). They are members of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Norris, the former Margaret Theresa Ohnmeiss, is a native of Newberry. She is the daughter of the late Margaret T. and Robert L. Ohnmeiss. She retired as a certified nursing assistant.

Mr. Norris, a native of Farrell, is the son of the late Irene M. and Webster A. Norris. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War and retired in 1991 from the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, where he was advertising director.
They are the parents of three girls, Anastasia Irene Toner, Williamsport; Margaret "Tara" Theresa Osborne, Rockford, Ill.; and Judith Ellen Helms, Charlotte, N.C.; and seven boys, James George Jr., Milford; Christopher Kevin, Williamsport; Donald Patrick, Shreveport, La.; the late Brian Stephen; Cornelius "Neil" John, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Daniel Andrew, Duncansville; and Michael Robert, Wake Forest, N.C.
There are 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In honor of their anniversary, the couple celebrated at home with their family.
