Announcement has been made of the engagement of Rachel Catherine Ten Eyck, Danville, and Derek David Mitchley, Lewisburg.
An October wedding at Sunbury Bible Church, Northumberland, is being planned.
Ten Eyck is the daughter of Susan and Harold Ten Eyck, Northumberland. She graduated from Watsontown Christian Academy in 1997 and received a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2005. She is employed by Albright Care Services, Lewisburg, as a graphic designer.

Mitchley is the son of Darlene and David Mitchley, Williamsport. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Penn State University in 2007. He is employed by RiverWoods Senior Living Community, Lewisburg, as a social worker.
