Students of the month
Hannah Brumbach
South Williamsport Area High School recently announced that Hannah Brumbach was named Senior of the Month for November.
Brumbach is the daughter of Mark and Emily Brumbach, South Williamsport.
In school, Brumbach has been actively involved in Band and Chorus. She served as Drum Major her sophomore through senior years, was chorus secretary during her junior year and chorus president this year.
She auditioned and was chosen for Select Choir all four years of high school. She also has participated in theater, the Music and Songwriters Club, Art Film Club and Foreign Language Club.
Outside of school, Brumbach donates her time teaching dance at the Katie Benson School of Dance. She has previously participated in the Sept. 11 memorial motorcycle ride and is active in her church's Praise Band and Youth Group, ACT Up! theatre performances and nursing home music ministry (11-12).
In her junior year, Brumbach was selected to receive the Outstanding Musician Award. After graduation, she plans to attend college and study missions or dance.
Drew T. Ryan
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Lions Club's Citizen of the Month for December is Drew T. Ryan, son of Kelly and Paul Ryan, Jersey Shore.
A student at Jersey Shore Area High School, Ryan has been active in Prom Committee, Outdoor Club, baseball, football, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Relay For Life and Class Committee.
Ryan has served as class treasurer for four years and has been National Honor Society treasurer since his induction as a junior. Outside school, Ryan serves at the altar for St. Luke Church. He has held a part-time data entry position with Don's Real Estate and delivers for Pizza to Go.
Ryan is a varsity letter winner in football. He enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, geocaching, skiing, listening to music and cooking.
After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study kinesiology, and is considering the long-term goal of pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy.
Danielle Rozenberg
JERSEY SHORE - The Business and Professional Women's Club Girl of the Month for December is Danielle Marie Rozenberg, daughter of Michele and Rusty Rozenberg, Jersey Shore.
A student at Jersey Shore Area High School, Rozenberg has been active in Prom Committee, Homecoming Committee, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, cross country, Ski Club, Future Business Leaders of America, track and field, Relay For Life and School Counts.
Rozenberg has served as captain of her Relay For Life team and as treasurer for Ski Club. Outside school, she is active in her church youth group. She held a part-time summer position with the Williamsport Crosscutters and babysits for family friends.
Her achievements have been recognized through her regular inclusion on the distinguished honor roll, and her School Counts awards. She also has the rare distinction of having perfect attendance at school since first grade.
She enjoys reading and being with her family.
After graduation, she plans to attend Lock Haven University's physician assistant program with the goal of working in family practice.
