There is no place like home for the holidays. Let the James V. Brown Library help you and your family stay connected this season.
Please share with your visiting relatives, friends and guests to the area with a valid photo ID can register to receive free use of the computers and Wi-Fi access. Visitors also may participate in our library programs, receive help with their e-readers, access local genealogy files and read magazines and newspapers.
Library patrons can make the holidays brighter in our community by donating to one of our many charities such as Toys for Tots or Lycoming County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The library is serving as a collection spot with containers in the main circulation area. Toys, winter clothing, pet food and cleaning supplies all are greatly needed by these organizations.
Mailing holiday greetings? The library sells stamps.
Traveling soon? Apply for your passport at the library.
We hear the pitter, patter of reindeer; Kris Kringle will be arriving at the library with a bundle of books to deliver at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The program is free and open to the public.
Looking for the perfect gift? How about "Own A Day"? When you sponsor a day of library service you touch more than 1,000 lives. Choose your favorite day, sponsor your own or your loved one's birthday and help the library meet the growing needs of our community.
