Pam Rosado has been making crafts since she was a child.
It began when her grandmother taught her to crochet doilies, she said.
Since then she's developed her talents to make crocheted designer clothing, hand-crafted jewelry and other merchandise.

"I've been selling for many, many years," she said.
She sold her items at shows too.
A lot of her customers would ask if she had a business location.

But it wasn't until this month that she had a venue for her merchandise at 43 Robin Lane, New Columbia.
On Dec. 11 she held an open house at her New Columbia home to introduce the public to Country Vale Designs.
"Everything is made by me except the soaps," she said.
Rosado has set aside the upstairs of her home to display button wraps, shawls, scarves, jewelry, and other accessories.
Some of the music jewelry, she said, is fashioned out of guitar strings and guitar picks.
"I try to find uses for everything," she said. "The jewelry I'm making now is wire crocheted."
She also sells ereader holders.
"I have mohair wraps and capes," she said. "The hats are always popular in the winter time."
The said the wraps are probably her best-selling items.
Rosado, a certified reflexologist and reiki master, also sells healing and herbal soaps.
She offers free gift wrapping for all her merchandise.
Country Vale Designs will be open from noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
After Christmas, the shop will be open by appointment only.
