Ecumenical luncheon
United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, Kathy Clees, a ventriloquist, will visit with Scooter to tell us how he first heard about Christmas. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
Devotion line
The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Dorothy Wagner, a member of Mill Creek United Methodist Church in Montoursville.
