December 11, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

As the Holiday season is nearing and the outdoors are getting cooler, families start to look for warm, indoor activities for the upcoming winter.

Music's the Balm is offering several free trial classes for its Music Together parent-child classes. Music Together teaches family bonding through family music making.

Taught by board-certified music therapist and center director of Music's the Balm, Rachel Ludovico, the 45-minute class is jam-packed with award-winning music written by Music Together founders Ken Guilmartin and Lili Levinowitz, Ph. D.

Free classes will be held at 10 a.m. today at Montgomery House Library, McEwensville; 10 and 11:15 a.m. Friday at the Public Library for Union County, Lewisburg; and 10 and 11:15 a.m. Jan. 3 in the Welch Family Wing of the James V. Brown Library in Williamsport.

All sample classes are by reservation only, easily done at www.musicsthebalm.com/demo-classes. At the sample class, participants will receive a free CD of Music Together music and video, a packet of valuable early childhood music information, a chance to sign up for one of the regular 10-week semesters, and a 45-minute experience of music.
