JERSEY SHORE - Jersey Shore Area Middle School recently announced its "ROCK" Star Award recipients for the month of September.
"ROCK" stands for Respect Yourself, Organize and Plan for Success, Care for People and Property, and Keep on Learning.
As part of the schoolwide positive behavior initiative, school officials identified students who displayed "Universal Expected Behaviors" within the previous month. Each teacher completes a certificate explaining why students are nominated.

Award winners are announced during daily building-wide announcements and they receive a letter of invitation to attend a special ROCK Star breakfast served by principal Reed Mellinger and co-principal Laura Milarch.

Grade 6 - Emily Carr, Annalise Eiswerth, Madison Gentzyel, Brody Gleckner, Emily Liddick, Courtney Miele, Dusty Powers, Alex Trunzo.
Grade 7 - Jasiah Bower, Jason Dincher, Krista Eck, Samantha Ewing, Averie Hess, Heidi Koch, Autumn Logue, Skye Lukens, McKenna Russell, Colby Willits.
Grade 8 - Breanna Allen, Hunter Bailey, Jacob Biblehimer, Harris Brewer, Skylar Brion, Ricky Dailey, Beatrice Ferguson, Justine Fogleman, Dakota Gardner, Chiara Hauserman, Morgan High, Jordan Keen, Timber Merryman.
