Announcement has been made of the engagement of Amanda L. Starr, Jersey Shore, and Cody L. Sauers, Loganton.
A Sept. 21 wedding in Bloomsburg is being planned.
Starr is the daughter of Cheryl and Richard Starr, Jersey Shore. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2006 and received an associate degree in radiography from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2009. She is employed by Mobilex USA as a radiology technician and by Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Sauers is the son of Lynn Sauers, Loganton, and Dan Sauers, Muncy. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School and received an associate degree in construction and electrical trades from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2010. He is employed by Rockwater Energy Solutions, Linden.
