Melinda Katherine Lepley and Ryan James Moody, both of Columbia, Md., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.
The Rev. Alberta Eaton officiated at the ceremony held at Kurtz's Beach, Pasadena, Md., where a reception also was held.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Hella's Restaurant and Lounge, Millersville, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Mary and Mark Lepley, Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2001. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary and kindergarten education from Penn State University in 2005 and a master's degree in education and administrative leadership from Towson University, Towson, Md., in 2010. She is employed by the Baltimore City Public School System as a first grade teacher.
Moody is the son of Kathy McAllister, Dunedin, Fla., and the late John McAllister. He graduated from Hammond High School, Columbia, Md., in 2000 and received a certification for journeyman of electrician from Electrical Apprenticeship School (IEC), Odenton, Md., in 2006. He is employed by Electrical General Corp., Annapolis Junction, Md., as an electrical estimator.
Matron of honor was Shantille Stohl, Arnold, Md.
Bridesmaids were Shannon Lykens, Glen Burnie, Md.; Megan Waltz, Wilmington, Del., cousin of the bride; and Jennifer Miller, Broadway, Va., sister of the bridegroom.
Junior bridesmaid was Danielle Waltz, Wilmington, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Brianna Heltman, Williamsport, niece of the bride.
Best man was Benjamin Dodson, Windsor Mill, Md.
Ushers were Chad Pringle, Mount Airy, Md.; Brian Heltman, Williamsport, Md., cousin of the bride; and David Schmidt, Beltsville, Md.
Junior groomsman was Matthew McAllister, Capt. St. Claire, Md., cousin of the bridegroom.
Following a trip to Excellence Resort, Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple is residing in Columbia.
