Mr. and Mrs. George K. Neyhart, Williamsport, will observe their 70th wedding anniversary Dec. 12, 2012.
They were married in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Mrs. Neyhart, the former Elizabeth A. Crandell, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of Emma and Dr. Roy Crandall. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1942 and was a volunteer at the Williamsport Hospital for 20, where she also was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary.
Mr. Neyhart, a native of Williamsport, is the son of Bertha and George K. Neyhart. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1940 and served in the Army Air Force as a combat crew instructor from 1942 to 1945. He retired from JP Ward Foundry, Blossburg, as director of sales and marketing.
They are the parents of two daughters, Deborah Kuster, Jackson, N.J., and Marilyn, North Wales. There are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
