Christmas musical
"I'll be Home for Christmas," a Christmas musical about family and hope in the golden days of radio, will be performed by the Resounding Cymbals Theater Group at 7 p.m. tonight and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Williamsport Scottish Rite Little Theatre, 348 N. Market St. (use the East Fourth Street entrance across from the James V. Brown Library). Each performance will include a dessert buffet. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted for a local charity.

Children's Christmas pageant
COGAN STATION - A children's Christmas pageant will be held at The Christian Church at Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Road, during the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services. Children 3 years and up will share through acting and singing, why they are excited that Jesus was born on Christmas morning. Call 998-2898 for more information.

Prayer group meeting
JERSEY SHORE - Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church, 68 Phelps Chapel Road, Pine Creek exit off Route 220, will hold the Prayer Group at 11 a.m.
Free holiday meal
WATSONTOWN - St. John's Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, will hold a free fellowship meal from 4:30-6:30 p.m. featuring scalloped chicken.

Musical scheduled
MILTON - A Christmas Carol - A New Musical will be held in the Family Life Center at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road, at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $8 for adults (13 and older), $5 for children 6-12 and are available at the door or at the church office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Proceeds will be used toward construction of a well in a Guatemalan village.

Chiz Rider Christmas concert
COGAN STATION - Trumpet player Chiz Rider will perform at 7 p.m. at The Christian Church at Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Road. A love offering will be taken.
Live nativity
LINDEN - Pine Run United Methodist Church, 1719 Pine Run Road, two miles north of Route 220, will present a live nativity and Christmas cantata. The live nativity will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the cantata "Silent Night! Holy Night!" around 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will follow the cantata. The cantata will also be performed during the 9 a.m. morning worship service on Dec. 23.

Daniel's Closet
Daniel's Closet (a free clothing ministry) will be open from 9-11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1101 Washington Blvd., with clothing for children, women and men. Donations of clean, seasonal clothing and set up at the church will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Dec. 13.
Free breakfast
AVIS - A free breakfast will be provided at Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect St., from 9-11 a.m. Santa will visit at 10 a.m. to tell a story and hand out gifts to all children attending.
Turkey and biscuit dinner
SALLADASBURG - Salladasburg United Methodist Church, 310 Main St., will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4-7 p.m. Take-outs available from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Donations accepted. Proceeds from this dinner will benefit Hurricane Sandy UMCOR Relief.

'Love Came Down'
LEWISBURG - The Buffalo Valley Singers and Buffalo Valley Brass will present "Love Came Down" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Road. Cost is $5, children 12 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door.

'The Hope of Christmas'
JERSEY SHORE - "The Hope of Christmas" musical will be presented at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Nippenose Bible Fellowship, 92 Schoolhouse Road, in Nippenose Valley across from the Oval Country Store. Advent fun day set
MIFFLINBURG - Camp Mount Luther will hold an Advent Fun Day from 10 a.m.-noon in the Evergreen Center. Activities will include craft making for all ages, cookie baking, singing, and more. QUIGGLEVILLE - St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Quiggleville will offer a Christmas service in the German language at 7 p.m.
