When The Center was facing eviction from its facility last week, we lamented that its services were sorely needed in the community and those believing in that premise needed to step up.
The Trinity Episcopal Church has done just that, agreeing to serve as home to The Center's after-school and senior programs starting this past Monday.
Volunteers stepped forward to help with the relocation process for the programs.
We can argue and theorize about what caused The Center's eviction, but that won't help those who benefitted from its programs. Solid restructuring, organization and want-to will determine The Center's future effectiveness.
For now, what's needed is what the church did - good people to come forward in ways that can help maintain The Center's programs.
