Ex-Weldon employees plan winter gathering
All former Weldon employees are invited to the annual winter gathering which will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pajama Factory, 1307 Park Ave.
Attendees are asked to bring a tureen or dish to share and table service.

Public school retirees to hold luncheon
The Lycoming County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of Public School Retirees will hold their annual Christmas luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pine Run United Methodist Church Social Hall, Linden.
A ham and turkey lunch with all the trimmings will be served. After lunch, entertainment will be presented.
Members and other retirees of the public school system are welcome and may bring a guest. Registration and payment are required in advance.

Fashion walk, charity auction set at LHU
LOCK HAVEN - The Art as Fashion Club at Lock Haven University will present the third annual Fashion Walk and Charity Auction from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday on the LHU campus in the Parsons Union Building Multi-Purpose Room.
The event will feature a textile and jewelry runway show, which will be followed by the charity auction. The auction will feature textiles, such as bandanas and hand-dyed scarves as well as art shirts, which are donated shirts that have been recycled and remade with decorative embroidery.
The smaller items will be auctioned via silent auction while the art shirts will be modeled by members of both the Lock Haven and Lock Haven University communities. The textiles and jewelry in the runway show will be predominantly student created artwork.
The proceeds from both auctions will benefit First Nations Community Health Source. First Nations is a charity dedicated to helping Native American communities in the American southwest. First Nations Community Health Source is a community based clinic and health center that addresses the needs of Native Americans and other minority populations, specifically in New Mexico. The charity specializes in services relating specifically to physical, emotional, social and spiritual therapies.
Nursery school plans breakfast with Santa
Lycoming Nursery School will host a Breakfast with Santa event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Lycoming Presbyterian Church, 825 Arch St.
There is a fee for the meal, which includes pancakes and sausage.
