Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday, the first week of Advent, Dr. Charles Getchell will join us and bring his bells and so we can all participate and enjoy caroling as we sing and ring the season in. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Pastors Jim and Kathy Behrens. Kathy serves the Wallis Run and Mill Creek United Methodist Charge. Jim serves the Picture Rocks United Methodist Charge.
