ELKLAND - Benjamin J. Kerrick, 37, of Easton, was charged by state police with sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, sexual assault of a child, indecent assault for allegedly have sexual intercourse with a minor female from June 1, 2006 to Nov. 31, 2009, at various locations.
According to documents filed at District Judge Brian Edgcomb's office, the alleged assaults against the girl who was between 12 and 15 at the time, took place at 406 E. Main St., Elkland, Kerrick's residence in Jim Thorpe, and a trailer in Blakeslee.
Another victim, the half sister of the first, said she also had been molested by Kerrick and that he had videotaped the incidents. He was released on $150,000 bail and his preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 17.
