Carl M. "Buzz" Mitchell, 54, of Rose Valley, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in the woods of Steam Valley, where he loved hunting.
Born Oct. 30, 1958, in Williamsport, he was the son of Carl and Betty Helminiak Mitchell of Rose Valley.
He was a graduate of Montoursville High School. Buzz was owner of Rose Valley Mechanical. He loved hunting, fishing, his Fourth of July celebrations and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of Dutch Hill Hunting Club.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are four daughters, Echo (Hank) Reedy, Fawn Mitchell, and Mia Mitchell, all of Rose Valley, and Megan Hughes of Montoursville; his fiancee, Peggy Murphy; five grandsons; a sister, Yvonne Mitchell-Sarch of Williamsport; and the mother of his daughters, Shelley Mitchell of Huntersville.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport.
