During its 45 years of existence, the Golden Dragon Family Training Center in Williamsport has called many places home.
Most recently, the martial arts and law enforcement training business has found new digs at the rear of 613 E. Third St.
The site provides more spacious accommodations for owner Lanny Reed and his instructors, who teach people of all ages.

Lanny Reed will continue teaching martial arts and fitness with Golden Dragon Family Training Center, at a new site on Third Street.
"I'm internationally certified in lots of law enforcement courses and training and the martial arts," Reed said.
He pointed to a large area given over to floor mats where he and instructors provide training in Judo, Ju Jitsu and various forms of self-defense training.
"We can teach over there. And I have a classroom set up," he said, pointing behind him.
Reed, a former investigator with both Williamsport Police and Lycoming County, has taught numerous law enforcement personnel in such areas as officer safety and survival, firearms, defense tactics, and other disciplines.
A black belt in several styles of martial arts, he started the Pennsylvania State Judo Championships in Williamsport.
He has taught countless people in martial arts over the years.
"I am in my third generation of students," he said with a smile.
Reed promotes the martial arts, especially Judo as way for people to learn discipline, physical fitness, balance, self-confidence, coordination, and self-defense.
"Judo is a family sport," he said.
Children can benefit immensely from the sport by learning control.
Kids are not taught to punch and kick in Judo, according to Reed.
After all, they must know how to control themselves before controlling others.
Punching and kicking is not controlling, he noted.
Reed also offers elementary school age wrestling, cardio kickboxing classes and other conditioning and training.
He has a staff of about 10 martial arts instructors.
Over the years, many of his instructors has gone on to successfully compete in international competitions.
"I have trained a lot of different people over the years," he said.
Reed said he's always looking for instructors in martial arts classes as well as in aerobics, healing arts and other areas.
