Nellie Wilcox, 64, of 1141 High St., died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at her home with her family by her side.
Nellie's husband, Leonard Wilcox, currently resides at Manor Care in Williamsport, Pa.
Nellie enjoyed the casino and spending time with her daughter and family.
Born April 15, 1948, in Milton, Pa., she was the daughter of Margaret and Tilghman Dunkle.
Surviving sons are, Jeremy of Williamsport, Jerry Lee of Williamsport; daughter, Ann of Williamsport; stepdaughters, Lisa and Tammy Edminson of Beaver Springs; sister, Bonnie Aikey and Ed of Milton; nephew, Scott; nieces, Brenda and Barb; two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Nellie was predeceased in death by a sister, Audrey May Dunkle, whom died at birth.
Two individuals are to be mentioned that have lived with and cared for Nellie through some of the hardest points of her life, they are Ernest Leonard with eight children and 21 grandchildren, and TJ Miller with three daughters and eight grandchildren.
Nellie also had an extended family, the Ferricks family, in which she dedicated much of her time and love, to help and care for through the last 15 years of her life.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday from noon to 12:45 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. There will be a service of remembrance from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Newell Town Cemetery.
