Holiday collections sought for feature
The Sun-Gazette is looking to feature stories about collectors who have holiday-themed items for its special holiday sections.

The Sun-Gazette produces a special holiday section on Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Stories about local collectors also are published on the last Sunday of each month in the Sunday Lifestyle section.
Sun-Gazette seeks recipes from readers

Library to hold open house
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Public Library, 110 Oliver St., will hold an open house and silent auction from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 2.
This year there will be a drawing for one of four gift cards for Lingles and Weis Markets.

Library to holdannual program
CANTON - The Friends of the Canton Green Free Library will hold their Annual Silver Tea from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at the library, 38 N. Center St.
This is a time to give a donation for a memorial book or a book in honor of someone.
Toys For Tots drive begins
MUNCY - Interim HealthCare is sponsoring its first holiday toy drive benefiting Toys For Tots by collecting toys at its 160 Chad Road location.
Individuals and groups may drop off new, unwrapped toys through Dec. 19 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program delivers new toys at Christmas, with the purpose of sending a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
