I would be remiss in my obligations if I did not respond to recent correspondence entitled "Sick of it."
Certainly, the writer is entitled to his anti-Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu comments, but they are biased and unwarranted. Israel is the only stable democracy in Middle East and remains a strong ally of the United States. Israel is totally surrounded by numerous and unfriendly Arab governments and dictatorships plus a continued threat of annihilation by Iran.
My main objection is the writer's comment about Israel urging United States into war with Iraq. History and factual information has proved our administration was determined to remove Saddam Hussein, destroy (non-existing) weapons of mass destruction and attempt to install stability in Iraq.
United States and Israel must continue an excellent relationship to avert any future crises.
