Robert M. Emmil, 78, of Williamsport, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Rose View Center.
Born May 22, 1934, in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late Mary and George Emmil.
He was a veteran of the Army and he was a member of the American Legion Post 1.

Surviving are his children, George (Margo) of Williamsport, Jeff of Williamsport, William of Roaring Branch, Paulakay (James) Miller of Williamsport, Susan Schenck of Williamsport, Bobbie Boutwell of Montoursville and Linda Emmil of Williamsport; a brother, Randy Emmil of Bellefonte; a sister, Evelyn Chronister of Howard; 30 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.
