NAMI plans meeting
The Lycoming Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will hold a meeting at 6:30 tonight at Robert M. Sides, 201 Mulberry St.
Guest speaker will be Dr. Richard E. Dowell Jr. who will speak about the topic of models of mental illness toward understanding.
NAMI is an organization that promises to build better lives for millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
Garden club to hold next meeting
MUNCY - The Muncy Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m., Thursday at the St. James Parish Hall, 215 S. Main St., Muncy.
Helen Grosso, Master Gardner, will have a presentation about "Bringing in the Outdoors."
Hostesses will be Beverly Fronk and Carol Lute with devotions given by Carol Lute.
Anyone interested in joining the Muncy Garden Club is encouraged to attend.
