November 11, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

The DuBoistown Garden Club's Holiday House show of seasonal decorating ideas traditionally ushers in the holiday season.

This year's show marks the 49th year that club members will be exhibiting their talents at the show, scheduled for Nov. 16, 17 and 18 in Pennington Lounge, just off Mulberry Street, on the campus of Lycoming College.

Show chairwoman Edna Schooley said this year's theme, "Snowy Winter Holidays," will offer a change-of-pace for show attendees.

"Club members will carry out the theme with special room settings, distinctive decorations for the dozen trees on Christmas Tree Lane, and other decorating ideas for the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holidays," she said.

Club members will display their talents with fresh, new holiday floral arrangements, wreaths, table settings for the three holiday seasons and a wide variety of decorative displays.

Show attendees can browse through the Garden Market, which provides a variety of handcrafted decorations available for purchase.
