Craft fair, bake sale
LIBERTY - Friedens Lutheran Church, 741 Brick Church Road, will hold its annual craft fair and bake sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch, featuring homemade vegetable soup, will be available. Sponsored by Friedens Ladies Aid and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Proceeds benefit charities.
Meatloaf dinner
St. John's-Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., will hold a meatloaf dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children age 6-10 and free for those under 6. Take-outs available.

BASTRESS - Immaculate Conception Church, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, will hold its fall all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m.-noon. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
Veterans to be honored
Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., will have recognition, prayers and a blessing for all active veterans and anyone who has served in the military at both the 8 and 10 a.m. services.

MONTGOMERY - Clinton Baptist Church, 61 Warren St., will hold a soup sale (vegetable beef or ham and bean), for pickup after 2 p.m. Cost is $4 per quart.

MAINESBURG - Mainesburg United Methodist Church, Route 6, will hold Italian night from 4:30-7 p.m. Also, a crafts and bake table will be available. Proceeds benefit the church and missions.
True Heart in concert
JERSEY SHORE - St. John's Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., will host True Heart, a Gospel quartet, in concert at 6 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken. Also, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. the church will serve a meat loaf dinner, with a free-will offering taken for that, also.
Gettysburg Remembrance Day trip
CANTON - The Church of Christ is sponsoring a bus trip, with stops in Mansfield, Troy, Canton, Ralston and Williamsport, to Gettysburg for Remembrance Day, the 149th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Cost is $95 per person. Reservation deadline is Monday, Nov. 12, and may be made by calling 673-3156 or 673-5796.

Meal packaging program
JERSEY SHORE - St. John Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., will host a meal packaging program for Outreach Inc., to package 20,000 meals from noon-4 p.m. The meals will be distributed through the Love Center and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Area churches are invited to come and help in the packaging of the meals. All meals will be distributed in Lycoming and Clinton counties. Volunteers are needed from noon-4 p.m. in one-hour increments. Call 748-4581 to schedule a time. Each meal costs 25 cents to produce. Donations toward the meals are welcomed as well. This is an effort to address the increasing hunger needs in our counties.
Re-Creation in concert
MUNCY - Re-Creation, a singing group based in Selinsgrove, will present its "Gospel Gold" concert at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 201 S. Main St. A free-will offering will be collected.
