Francis Edward Betts, 65, of Morris Run, passed away Sunday Oct. 28, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Betts was a retired Lt. of the Department of Corrections with the Trenton State Prison in New Jersey.
He was a veteran of The U.S. Coast Guard; a member of Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post No. 167, Morris Run and Veterans of Foreign Wars Supreme Sacrifice Post No. 873, Blossburg.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Betts, Morris Run; three children and a stepdaughter; a sister and two grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by two brothers.
Friends will be received Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg from 1 p.m. until time of services at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Robert Martin officiating. Full military Honors will be accorded by Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post No. 167, Morris Run.
