For all that want to protect their second amendment rights must do all they can to encourage friends and neighbors to vote this present administration out of office. We have been lied to so many times by this president that we cannot afford another four years of his destructive policies. For those who are not aware of his and Clinton's definition of an assault weapon, the greatest weapon ever designed is the M-1 Garand Rifle which is the rifle used by Honor Guards at military funerals by the local veterans organizations. Do they mean that when honoring our veterans we will not give our vets the honor due with the 21 gun salute?
Think that is a ridiculous statement? Big brother has and will continue to take away our Constitutional rights ever so subtlely. I am not one who sees a conspiracy around every corner but watching and listening to this slick talker claiming executive privilege every time he has to cover up something he has to hide, he needs to be held accountable for his actions. His claim when he was running for office was he would be the most transparent, which has not, for instance, why not come forth with the things he is hiding from Congress concerning "fast and furious" which was designed to force gun control on law abiding gun owners. I read in this newspaper how some of our local high schools are having gun clubs as an extracurricular activity. Parent, do you want your son or daughter to be deprived of this sport and the possibilities that are before them? Here are just a few of Obama's record on gun rights:
Appointed two anti-gun Supreme Court Justices;
Wants to reimpose the failed and discredited Clinton gun ban on millions of common rifles, pistols and shotguns;
Reversed U.S. policy and participated in negotiations on a U.N. anti-gun treaty;
Voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry and place hundred of skilled machinist out of work;
Voted to ban almost all rifle ammo commonly used for hunting and sport shooting;
Voted to uphold criminal prosecution of people who use firearms in self-defense;
Endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership;
Opposed all right-to-carry laws.
