Open 12:30-2:30 p.m. Sundays and 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays. New shooters welcome and lessons are available.

The Lycoming Trap Shooters at CSLC has open shooting from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sundays and 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Fee applies.

NRA Basic Handgun shooting courses will be held 6:30-9 p.m. Mondays. Each course will be a minimum of 10 hours. New classes begin every two weeks. For more information, call Raymond George 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 368-1107.

ATA Basket of Apples shoot - Nov. 3-4. A basket of apples will be awarded to two lewis classes per event; limit one per shooter.

The Fall Youth Trap League shoots at 1 p.m. on Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.

ATA Thanksgiving Turkey shoot - Nov. 17. A turkey will be awarded to the winner of each event; limit one per shooter.

ATA Christmas Ham shoot - Dec. 15-16. A ham will be awarded to the winner of each event; limit one per shooter.

Beginners Firearms Safety Course: Participants will learn how to safely load a firearm, safely unload a firearm, safe clearing procedures, basic pistol shooting skills, the differences between a revolver and semi-automatic pistol and how to shoot each one, and more. A one-day class will be held 6-9 p.m. Oct. 29.

Contact the center for information on monthly shooting competitions. Advance registration required. Competitions monitored and supervised by NRA certified range officers.
