A terrible answer

October 28, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

After the second debate, I was watching Matt Lauer (Today Show) discuss some issues with Paul Ryan. At the end, Matt said "on the lighter side, Mr. Ryan, tell the Ohio people who will win the Wisconsin/Ohio State game this year"?

Mr. Ryan stumbled around saying the team with the worst record usually wins, this has been true the last two years and my wife and I attended, etc.

Matt asked him again to tell the Ohio people who would win? Mr. Ryan again rambled with rhetoric and at the end said to Matt-"how did you like that answer"?

Matt's response-"that was a terrible answer"!

What will it take for 60 million of our great citizens of this country to say, "stop the mud-slinging, stop insulting our intelligence by telling us the same thing 37 times, stop disregarding the moderator and interrupting like a kid, start addressing our issues as a team (maybe one-term limits with no party affiliation after the election?"

What will it take for all of us to say, "that was a terrible answer"?
