Montoursville to hold shred day
Montoursville will hold a free shredding event for borough residents from 9 to 11 a.m. today at the Montoursville Borough Building, 617 N. Loyalsock Ave.
Keystone Mobile Shredding will have a shredding truck available to destroy personal documents on-site.
No papers are handled or viewed during the process.
Karen Metz, a certified identity theft risk management specialist will be on-hand to discuss the signs of ID theft.
Walk to benefit PAWS Park
The Friends of PAWS Park will be hold a benefit 5K9 walk beginning at 1 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Paws Park off-leash dog park in South Williamsport.
The walk will begin and end at Paws Park.
The turnaround point will be the Wood Hick Statue on the Williamsport side of the river walk.
Pet portraits will be offered, for a fee, at Paws Park with photographer Cindy Straub.
Registration begins at 1 and the walk will begin at 1:30.
There will be a registration fee. Each registrant will receive a T-shirt, bottle of water and a bandana for the dog.

Senior citizens to hold next meeting
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Senior Citizens will meet at noon Nov. 8 at St. John's Lutheran Church.
The meeting will be a turkey dinner, which will be served by the members of the church.
The program will be by Steven Waltz of Linden.
Salvation Army plans fundraiser
LOCK HAVEN - The Salvation Army will host a skate rally from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 9 at Skate Haven, 501 E. Walnut St., for youth ages 12 and older.
There will be an admission and skate rental fee. The concession stand will be open.

Hospital auxiliary to hold sale event
The Divine Providence Hospital Auxiliary will have coupon booklets for discounts to use on Nov. 9 and 10 at Bon-Ton.
The coupon books are worth $400 and are available at the Divine Providence Hospital Gift Shop for a donation.
Proceeds benefit the Divine Auxiliary and the Susquehanna Health Cancer Center.
Church guild to hold sale
The Ladies of St. Ann Church Women's Guild will hold a "Treasures - Old and New" sale from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 11 at St. Ann Church Parish Hall.
The event will include decorations, religious articles, toys and games, crafts and more.
