Police: Woman refused to leave home

October 26, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

WELLSBORO - Jennifer G. Anderson, 19, of 2082 Yale St., was charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct by state police Sept. 25 after Veronica Anderson said she was not welcome in her home and does not pay rent.

According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard's office, Anderson allegedly was found by police laying on her bed and stating she wasn't leaving.

Police said she threw a soda can at the officer when he told her she was under arrest and resisted being handcuffed. She continued to yell obscenities and fight and would not walk outside to be placed in the vehicle for transport, police said.

She was released on $1,500 bail and waived her preliminary hearing.
