MANSFIELD - Mansfield University's baseball team will host a Kids Nite Out for local youth on Nov. 3 and Dec. 8.
This is the 13th year for the annual event and community project. During Kids Nite Out, children will participate in a fun-filled, supervised evening of constructive activities such as basketball, swimming, volleyball, games, music and more.
The concession stand will be open all night.
The program is supervised by the MU Baseball Team who are Act 34 certified, with certified lifeguards at the pool.
The purpose of the program is to offer a community service for all parents in the area, and give young people a chance to use the facilities at Decker Gym.
The event will be open to boys and girls from the ages of 5 to 18. Parents may register and drop off their children at Decker Gym lobby anytime after 6 p.m. that evening.
Parents may pick up their children anytime before 9 p.m. There is a fee for each child to participate.
