Danville man joins

bank's board

Bryan Holmes, president and chief operating officer, announces that Kenneth A. Holdren, of Danville has been named to the board of directors of FNB Bank.

In this position, he will be responsible for ensuring that the management and performance of the bank is conducted in a way that represents the interests Fulton Financial Corp.. The board also appoints senior management and ensures that the bank operates using safe and sound business practices.

Holdren is the chief administrative officer for the Geisinger Clinic, Geisinger Health System. He is an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of Medical Group Management Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Holdren, a certified public accountant, received his bachelors in accounting from Lycoming College.

FNB Bank, an affiliate of Fulton Financial Corp., is a community bank headquartered in Danville, Pennsylvania with eight offices throughout Montour, Northumberland, Columbia and Lycoming counties in Pennsylvania.

Joey Temple was recently recognized as the August employee of the month at Construction Specialties, Inc. in Muncy.

With nearly 13 years of service, Temple, a news release said, comes with a wealth of knowledge about his department at the company. His extensive knowledge makes him an invaluable member of the team. Recently, the release said, Temple was challenged with a fire barrier project with an impossible deadline and his drive, self discipline, and hard work allowed him to complete the task on time, meeting the needs of the customer. Earlier this month, Temple received an "on the spot" recognition award for his tremendous efforts.
