Announcement has been made of the engagement of Beatrice King and Joseph Scocchera, both of Williamsport.
A May 4 wedding at the bride's parents' home in Trout Run is being planned.
King is the daughter of Laurie and Daniel King, Trout Run. She graduated from Rosslyn Academy, Nairobi, Kenya, in 2001. She is employed by North Central Pennsylvania Dialysis Clinic, Montoursville, as a hemodialysis technician.

Scocchera is the son of Frances and James Scocchera, Cogan Station. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003. He is employed by Williamsport Steel Container as department supervisor.
