Announcement has been made of the engagement of Rimanda D. Harvey, Weikert, and Joseph H. Stender III, Northumberland.
A June 22 wedding at St. Monica Church, Sunbury, is being planned.
Harvey is the daughter of Debra and David Harvey, Weikert. She graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 2005 and received an associate degree in medical billing and coding from McCann School of Business and Technology, Sunbury, in 2009. She is employed by Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a business service coordinator.

Stender is the son of Michelle A. and Joseph H. Stender Jr., Northumberland. He graduated from Shikellamy High School, Sunbury, in 2007, and received a bachelor's degree in communication media from Lock Haven University in 2011. He is employed by the Williamsport Sun-Gazette as the education reporter.
