Announcement has been made of the engagement of Kristi Kosatschenko, Charlotte, N.C., and Adam Bratton, formerly of Montoursville, now of Charlotte.
A Sept. 21, 2013, wedding near Charlotte is being planned.
Kosatschenko is the daughter of Cathy and Georg Kosatschenko, Gastonia, N.C. She graduated from North Gaston High School, Dallas, N.C., in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2007. She is employed by RIA Database, Charlotte, and by the Charlotte Bobcats as a member of the Lady Cats dance team.

ADAM BRATTON
Bratton is the son of Jeanne and Rod Bratton, Cornelius, N.C., formerly of Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2001. He received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va., in 2006, and a master's degree in sports management from Univeristy of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2010. He is employed by U.S. National Whitewater Center, Charlotte, as events and sponsorship manager.
