Local Mothers & More group to hold open house
The Williamsport Area Chapter of Mothers and More will host it's fall open house at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Williamsport YMCA, 815 W. Fourth St. Mothers and More is a group that helps mothers focus on themselves - as both mothers and women - wherever they are on life's journey. It also allows moms to connect with themselves, making meaningful connections with other mothers and help them find their "more" while facing motherhood challenges.

Women's center to host domestic violence vigil
LOCK HAVEN - The Clinton County Women's Center will host a domestic violence candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Triangle Park.
The vigil is to help remember and honor those who have lost their lives, those who have survived and those who still struggle with domestic abuse.
Local garden club to meet
The Montoursville Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St., Montoursville. The program, presented by Barbara Schmouder, will be "Pressed Flowers on Velvet."
Hostess is Becky Hedgcock, with a committee of Bonnie Seltzer, Shirley Mohney and Judy Strycula.
Blast from the past basket bingo slated
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Area Lioness Club will sponsor a basket bingo Oct. 13 at the Wheeland Center along Locust Street.
The doors will open at 11 a.m. and will begin at 1 p.m. Lunch will be available. The theme is "Blast From the Past."
